PC for the Indian Market.. Costing not more than $35 it is having all the features a low end Tablet can be expected to have..
It is based on Android 2.2 Froyo with a 600 Mhz processor..
These Tablets will be supplied to the Indian Universities by the Indian Government on subsidized price.. The real cost of manufacturing the device is $37.98.
The commercial variant of this tablet named 'AKASH' will be available to the retail market by November End.
There will be additional cost put to the commercial variant but even that wont come up more then $50.
